#UPCYCLINGFIVERR I'm proud to present a super original item combining 2 types of single use trash : a classic size tuna can seven wooden coffee stirrers (fortunately plastic ones are no longer allowed to be sold) That's a nice score of 8 recycled wastes per instrument made!!! It's super simple to make: Collect the can and the 7 coffee stirrers, I also got my hands on some bamboo stirrers that look stronger to me and should produce a more powerful and consistent sound Print the 3 pieces (it takes less than 2 hours) Assemble the whole as on the screenshots (you need 2 M4 screws of 25 mm length or more + 2 M4 nuts), without tightening too much at the beginning to be able to choose the notes you want to play (do it by ear, with 2-3 notes, you can find beginnings of known melodies or of your invention, it's super fun!) Then you can tighten the screws, adjusting the length of the spindles back and forth to fine tune the tuning. Glue the wave table on the top turn of the can, me, I used the glue gun, I will be able to unstick the 2 parts quite easily if I want. For my own use, I'm thinking of making several with different tunings and different colors of plastic to recognize which KALIMBA is designed for which piece of music: lullaby, ethnic music, vintage computer game music ...
