A Simple Angle for X-Y Calibration via Xsteps and Ysteps. First, reset the X and Y steps to factory settings. In my case, this is 80 Steps/mm. Next, print the calibration angle and measure it as accurately as possible after it has cooled down. For me, the measurements came out to be 99.40mm for the X-axis and 99.38mm for the Y-axis. Now, divide the used steps by the measurement results. Theoretically exact 100mm required 8000 Steps from the printer. Divide 8000 Steps by the measured values to obtain the correct value, which must still be entered into the control system. To do this in the Mecreator2 software, go to Control - Motion - Xsteps or Ysteps. In my case, rounded out, this results in: X = 8000 / 99.40 = 80.48 Y = 8000 / 99.38 = 80.50 Before starting, please remove all tensioners from the belts and tension them as evenly as possible. It's also a good idea to remove the springs altogether. This will provide you with a better surface finish.
