I designed this as a way to keep the coolant in the chip pan. As the saw comes the coolant is free to splash down into the chip pan and a lot of it splashes out on to the surrounding floor. This funnel just sits on the 25mm bar that holds the length setter and keeps the coolant from splashing all over the floor.
