I designed a basic holder using two 12x2mm magnets and several small screws to securely fasten my KAI 7230 scissors in place. The tight fit of my scissors adds an extra layer of security, but it's likely that with time the holder will loosen slightly. This holder is specifically tailored for this model of scissors, as I based its shape on the unique design of my KAI 7230.
