Kaihl Choc compatible key cap
thingiverse
This is a basic keycap for Kaihl Choc switches. These are quite small, and getting the prongs precisely right can be a real challenge. It will likely require trimming, sanding, or filing of the prongs to fit snugly into the switch stem. I designed these with a .3 mm clearance in mind. To achieve better results, I printed these at both .1 and .2 layer heights, with the latter providing a more accurate fit. When printing, make sure to use settings that promote good layer bonding, or the prongs may break off. Print at a hotter temperature, and allow for extra time between layers. To be honest, I encountered some difficulties and ultimately decided to purchase keycaps to save time. Out of the 20 or so that I printed, around 5 came out perfectly, while 10 were still usable. For optimal results with this type of model, a good SLA or DLP resin printer would be ideal. Alternatively, a 0.2 nozzle on an FDM printer might produce better outcomes.
