The traditional Hawaiian habitation site of Site NP-2 sits proudly on the north shore of Oahu, its presence a testament to the island's rich cultural heritage. Located downslope and makai from Kahokuwelowelo Heiau (Site NP-1), this 23 by 26 meter site is connected to another significant habitation site, NP-3, via a narrow path. The site itself boasts several enclosures, each one a fascinating glimpse into the lives of ancient Hawaiians - remnants of house structures, terraces, and an impressive perimeter wall that still stands strong today. Despite the passing of time, some areas still showcase formal stacking techniques, a testament to the ingenuity of our ancestors.
