I designed this spacer to take out the slop from an Olympia Cremina portafilter in a Kafatek Monolith grinder. I added some features to help centre the portafilter and prevent it from vibrating out.

Features:

• reduces slop for Cremina 49mm portafilter

• small ramps hold the portafilter securely in place

• chamfered entrance for easier location

• centres the portafilter under the exit chute

• leaves enough space at the top for different sized dosing funnels

• designed for for an Olympia Cremina 49mm portafilter (~4.5mm flanges), but may fit others

Print Settings

Printer:

Matterhackers Pulse XE

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.1

Infill:

30%

Filament:
Matterhackers NylonX
Black

Notes:

I printed this using Matterhackers NylonX on a Pulse XE.
It should be a pretty easy print. Just put the flat side down, slice with a low layer height (I used 0.1mm), 30% infill (I use gyroid), no need for a brim or supports, and it should be a ~30 minute job.
The design relies on an interference fit, so you may need to scale ever so slightly depending on the shrink rate of the material you're printing.

Category: Kitchen & Dining
