This design utilizes readily available aluminum bar purchased at home renovation stores. The dimensions of the bar are 1/2" x 1/8" x 5 3/4" (12.8mm x 3.2mm x 145mm). A strong adhesive bond is created by gluing the bar to the upper piece. The bottom piece can be securely fastened to the front, left, or right sides of the printer. Printing two or three copies of the bottom piece allows for easy mounting and enables smooth movement of the upper piece with the webcam from one side of the printer to another.
