K8200 Z Axis Upgrade
thingiverse
This design is a direct derivative of the superb http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1685126 by Charlies3DT. I've modified the End Stop mount position to accommodate use without the metal extension on the micro switch, and added top mounts with bearings for the lead screws' top. Additionally, I've included an extra fixing hole on the motor plates. Anti-kickback nuts have also been incorporated, resulting in some unnecessary screw holes on the Z Carriage plates. However, these were only added as an afterthought. It's suggested that this design be printed at high infill to maximize its rigidity. Clearly, you'll need to adjust your Z Axis steps per mm accordingly. For a complete rebuild, see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2079048.
