Here's my rebuild of the X and Y axis of the Velleman K8200. It features GT2 belts, tangential clamping for the use of Igus linear bearings (also works with normal ball bearings). This design is significantly more robust than the original, ensuring precise alignment of the bearings. To complete this project, you'll need the following components: For the Y axis: * 8 M3x20mm screws * 2 M5x16mm screws * 2 M3x6mm screws * 1 5mm outer diameter rod, 31mm long (an M5x30 should work fine) * 1 GT2-6mm idler pulley with a 5mm inner diameter For the front Y holder: * 2 M3x16mm screws * 2 M3x6mm screws * 1 axis of 5mm outer diameter, 31mm long (an M5x30 should work fine) For the back Y holder: * 1 M3x6mm screw * 2 M3x12mm screws * 5 M3x16mm screws * 2 M3x20mm screws * 1 GT2 16-tooth pulley The files for this project have been uploaded as STL and 3MF formats. If needed, I can also provide Solidworks files or STEP files.
