K8200 X-Axis holder

<p>Yet Another X-axis holer for the Velleman K8200/3Drag printer.</p> <p>I have been looking for a stable holder with the end stop mounted on it, as i dont Think that there is a Point in moving the screw.</p> <p>This is designed so that you can cut of the metal bit, making it more precis and less vibrations from it.</p> <p>I have also raised the stepper motor a bit compared to the original to commodate GT2 belts with 20 or 16 teeth pullys.</p> <p>I have designed it so that it should be printed with the bit towards the alu bit downwards.</p> <p>I printed it and after adding it to the printer it got notisable more acurate.</p> <p>27.06.2018: Added .f3d and .step files</p> <p>17.07.2018: Adjusted it a Little and now it fits and is much more studier than anything else i have looked and tried.</p> <p>24.07.2018: Made some major Changes that means that it can print with only support from the build plate.</p> <p>It's also more stable as the whole motor is supported by the plate and the hex screw is moved so that you can adjust it when mounted.</p> <p>I have tested it on my own printer and it sits rock solid.</p> <p>16.09.2018 Redesign of the holder to lower it 5mm.</p> <p>That is to get it to fit with the upgrade <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:829491">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:829491</a></p> <p>This should sit as solid as the other one.</p> <p>I hope you like it :-)</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>K8200</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>Yes</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>40%</p></div> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>You can print this as you like, but wold be best with thick walls and much infill.</p> </p></p> Category: 3D Printer Parts
