Yet Another X-axis Holder for the Velleman K8200/3Drag Printer. I've been searching for a stable holder with the end stop mounted on it, and I don't think there's any point in moving the screw. This design allows you to cut off the metal bit, making it more precise and reducing vibrations from it. I've also raised the stepper motor slightly compared to the original to accommodate GT2 belts with 20 or 16-tooth pulleys. The holder is designed to be printed with the bit facing downwards towards the aluminum plate. After printing and adding it to my printer, I noticed a significant improvement in accuracy. Updates: June 27, 2018: Added .f3d and .step files. July 17, 2018: Made some adjustments and now it fits perfectly and is much sturdier than anything else I've tried. July 24, 2018: Major changes were made to enable printing with only support from the build plate. The motor is now fully supported by the plate, and the hex screw has been moved for easier adjustment. My printer sits rock solid on this holder. September 16, 2018: Redesigned the holder to lower it 5mm, allowing it to fit with the upgrade at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:829491. This new design should sit as solidly as the previous one.
