K8200 enclosure idea

Here are all my improvements I've done on my K8200 Printer. I'm excited to share them with you! All of these upgrades were affordable, costing less than 100 € in total. The enclosure is a repurposed IKEA Lack table setup. It fits perfectly around the printer and features four panels at 200 x 150 x110 dimensions. I added two IKEA LED strip lights for visual flair, making the printer stand out even more! Inside, the electrical box holds an assortment of parts, including two fans blowing air in and out, a fuse for added safety, and several switches. I used to experience issues where the printer would randomly disconnect or freeze on me. However, with these upgrades in place – particularly the additional cooling – those problems have become a thing of the past. The box itself has crimp contacts that link the original K8200 cables to a thicker 3x2 H07 wire (5.88mm^2), offering better protection against damage and reducing electrical resistance even further! For my upgrades, I employed Solid State Relays with built-in switching, which can operate at an impressive 8 amps while running off a mere 6 watts DC current for just 8 € each. Using this configuration allowed me to safely upgrade the printer's heat bed so that it could hit higher temperatures. Currently running it at a steady 105C and planning future iterations where this feature might allow me to do more! The upgraded components I've integrated offer significant improvement in durability compared with the old ones. So there are some updates on what we are working on. Regarding temperature regulation, you can use these new relays alongside their previous design for total ease of use. When printing in PLA or ABS plastics my experience with it was mixed and not as optimal, therefore when setting things up we want to get the prints done quickly with good results but our end goals must have higher success rates. For improved functionality and overall efficiency in your operations with these systems always test settings on an old part to make sure no unwanted reactions take place before putting your product on sale for retail purposes. It also is worth mentioning that we added support with flexible rods that made it more sturdy overall as this allows greater reliability across long timespans without needing many additional pieces. Finally I just replaced a simple, less-durable setup. Now you will get fantastic results without experiencing annoying failures and issues related to hardware damage so the cost can remain relatively low at around 500 $ USD. My print settings now include a lot of details – the exact parameters we set in operation include resolution at .1mm – although there's one setting I wish was changed, which is layer height being .3. Still printing at an infill percentage of 25, and other parameters including layer overlap, first layers per centage etc. However for my work the settings are just right since you could probably use even fewer if your printer has that ability
