K8200 - Double Trapetzoid Z-axis Addon
thingiverse
The concept is grounded on the Double Trapezoidal Z-Axis from Bondeus (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:327966), yet several modifications were required to achieve success. Firstly, a custom nut-holder (mutter.stl) was designed to fit an hexagonal trapezoidal nut (SW17L15, 17mm x 15mm). This feature allows the integration of brackets from Bondeus. Next, a spool holder was created, inspired by cypax's design, but with an increased length of 100mm. This ensures that Nunus-filament spools can be securely attached. The "stretcher" (spanner.stl) is a crucial component for using a 1210mm T5-Belt on Bondeus z-axis mod. Its design is based on the filament holder from szeedijk and the T5-18 Pulley from donboy. To assemble the stretcher, place a 608zz ball bearing into the pulley and attach it to an 8mm screw with three nuts. The bearing should then be passed through a hole in the stretcher and secured using a third nut. Additional images will be added at a later date. To complete this project, simply print each component as desired, ensuring that the spanner features adequate support structures generated by your slicer. In this case, I utilized the "Lines" option within CuraEngine with a density of 15%.
