K8200 4.5" Utility Shelf With Mounting Tabs
thingiverse
I have a Wi-Fi camera that I love using, but it kept falling off the rail due to its weight and the fact that it wasn't properly secured.\nSo, I designed this easy-to-assemble utility shelf to give it a sturdy home on my K8200 printer's rail system. It stays firmly in place after tightening the screws because of the precise fit of the shelf on the rail system.\nThis compact shelf measures 4.5 inches deep and 4 inches wide, making it suitable for various needs. With its innovative diagonal support structure, you can easily adjust its width or depth to suit your preferences.\nThe printing settings used were ideal, as I wanted a smooth print with no imperfections. I set the rafts to zero to achieve a clear bottom surface without any obstacles in my way. I chose an infill percentage of 10% for adequate structural support without compromising on material efficiency.\nAs always, I applied glue stick before lifting the model from the printer bed, and I did it with no trouble at all - a great success story indeed!\nMy Notes: No special settings were required, just my typical setup which works wonders every time. The top-down print strategy was chosen because it provides consistent quality, especially for this particular project.
