This revamped servo mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:262892) boasts increased stiffness and closer proximity to the extruder. To use, print the servo extension from the original design. Additionally, a parametric openSCAD source file is provided for adjustable servo positioning. The mount accommodates 9g Tower Pro or Hyperion DS-09 servos. Recommended printing settings include 0.3mm layer PLA and a 2mm brim, while ABS is suggested to combat sagging due to heat. Drill the servo mounting holes carefully; enlarging the drill diameter slightly may prevent this issue. When altering the design for different servos, remember to allow extra space on top of the actual servo size.
