The PCB milling assembly boasts a vent channel, ensuring efficient waste removal during cutting. Comprising three parts - mount, baseplate, and slider - this is an upgraded version of the design available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:288823. The source code for customization is in openSCAD format. A demonstration video can be found here:http://youtu.be/HnI0M1igDow. To print, the base and mounting plate require no support, while the slider must be printed with its surface facing a smooth substrate (e.g., an IKEA mirror). Due to printer issues, the top side finish may not be optimal. Suggested printing settings include 0.3mm layers and 20% honeycomb infill. The parts list includes two M5x20mm bolts, six M5 washers, four M5 nuts, one M6x25 bolt, one M6 washer, one M6 locknut, and a 25mm hose secured to a vacuum cleaner using gaffer tape (a better attachment solution is needed). The scad source consists of three modules: Rod, mounting, and slider. The K8200_rod.scad file should be placed in the directory "../K8200_rod.scad" and is a modification of the original K8200_rod available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:247948. A word of caution: using a plastic hose with a textured interior can cause an excruciatingly loud screeching noise during operation. Protect your ears by wearing ear defenders, as prolonged exposure may cause tinnitus.
