K8200 (3drag) Reloaded (Prusa i3 conversion)
thingiverse
This is my Velleman K8200 which I converted to a Prusa style printer. The parts used here are a mix of parts found on thingiverse and some that I designed to fit the printer. Most of the parts are from the Scalar Family - 3D printer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:891409 and the remix: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2057425 . The extruder is from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3404785 where I changed the x-axis rod distance from 46 to 45mm. The Y-axis motor holder and idler are from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4012972, where the idler was slightly modified to better fit the idler bearing. The design is made as such to re-use as much as possible of the original printer. No other hardware is needed besides the extra acme screw and motor for the second z-axis. The extruder is BMG style with a E3D V6 hotend, which I installed a long time ago. I'm using a SKR 1.4 Turbo as the mainboard but you can of course stick with the stock electronics. Everything was printed on my Ender 3 V2 and Artillery Sidewinder X1 using PLA for all the parts with at least 20% infill and 4 perimeters (vertical shells). Let me know in the comments if you have any questions!
