K8200/3Drag Printout Cooler
thingiverse
This is my revised design for a printer cooler tailored specifically for the K8200 or 3Drag model. For the hotend, which takes on a square shape, I chose to make it compact and rectangular in appearance. This cooler was designed with a 40mm fan in mind, but with the help of an adapter, I successfully attached a 70mm CPU fan to it. The file "fan_mounts.scad" not only provides a sturdy frame but also mounting holes for fans of various sizes. To calculate the size you need, simply divide by ten; a standard 92mm fan size works out to nine. After an update, I added another lid to enhance airflow during the print process. Now, let's move on to assembling this printer cooler. I recommend using a soldering iron to secure the lid onto the case. I've found this to be the most effective way to assemble PLA parts.
