A Custom Plotter Attachment That Fits Multiple Pens, I Use 2 Clamps Per Spring 3 Versions Available: Fine and Springy Fine and Tough Wide and Tough Delivers Satisfactory Results When Plotting, But a Step Skipping Issue Occurs When Changing Pens, Which May Be Caused by Bumping Into the Print Bed. I Utilize Inkscape with Gcodetools to Create the Gcode for My K8200 Printer, Simply Rounding All Dimensions to 4 Digits in Gcodetools Preferences. Perform a Test Run at Low Feedrate to Match Your Z-Offset and Pen Position. Print Settings: Printer: K8200 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.35 Notes: For the Springs, the Skin Should Be at Least 3mm Thick to Prevent the Dovetail from Snapping. The Thinnest Spring Is Designed for a .35mm Nozzle. How I Created This Work in Progress, Testing Out the Limits of My K8200 Step1 I Built This to Gain Experience with 3D Printing and CNC Technology, Starting with a Plotter Seemed Like the First Logical Step. I May Update This File to Include a Two-Sided Dovetail Clip, Allowing One Spring at the Top and One at the Bottom for Added Stability. However, a Rubber Band Works Well Enough for Basic Plotting, and That's All You Really Need in Many Cases. My Next Project Will Be a Mill Mod Based on the Designs by Sillano Marco (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:951383) and BorisLandoni (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:225465).
