K8200/3Drag GT2 Y Belt Mount with easy Tension - Upgrade
thingiverse
Upgrading your K8200/3Drag to a GT2 belt on the Y axis just got a whole lot simpler, thanks to these straightforward instructions. It's time to replace that old belt with a new one, and the good news is that this upgrade is as smooth as can be - you get to reuse all of those original mount screws and holes, and add some much-needed belt tension into the mix. To get your Y axis completely upgraded to GT2 specs, there are just a few more parts to source. You'll need to pick up: * A brand new 6mm GT2 belt (you can grab mine on eBay if you like). * A GT2 pulley for your motor that's got a sweet 20 teeth and 5mm motor hole combo. * The printed parts (we're talking two wedges, one mount, and one clamp here) are just the thing to get things rolling. * To round out this upgrade package you'll also need: + Two trusty M3x30mm screws + A couple of sturdy M3 nuts. Assembly is as simple as it gets - just follow the instructions on those picture guides and before you know it, your Y axis will be sporting a GT2 belt that's the envy of every maker in the business. And as a bonus? We've added some handy STEP files so you can bring all this goodness into your CAD programs. Just updated them, but still rocking.
