Mount the All-Metal E3D v6 Hot-End to Velleman K8200/3Drag standard filament extruder mounting system. I was impressed by the original fan duct and mount from E3D-Online, and wanted the Hot-End to attach securely on the original K8200/3Drag extruder using only its own components. This version of the design accommodates a 40mm fan and incorporates all original parts seamlessly. Revised: January 23rd, 2015. Significantly improved printing capabilities. Tighten the grip on E3D's cooler for enhanced performance. Installation Manual Replace the standard fan mount from E3D-Online with this simplified one-piece alternative. The original K8200 M3 screws and spacers are ideal for securing the E3D v6 Hot-End assembly in place. Assembly: Attach the E3D cool part to the printer using the K8200's own screws and spacers as per its standard configuration. Supplied materials: 4 x Wood screws with a length of 2.9mm and a diameter of 19mm (These will provide better support for the fan). Optional accessory: Use 2 x M3x5mm screws to attach easy-to-mount spacers, if desired. Printing parameters used to create this model include: ABS plastic as the printing material 0.3 mm layer thickness. 2 complete layers. 50% density filling throughout the entire structure. And brim configuration. For a silky-smooth finish on the E3D v6 Hot-End part, gently apply a few drops of acetone to it with an eyebrow brush (nail brush) or small paintbrush.
