Here is the spun text: Mounting for All-Metal E3D v6 Hot-End to Velleman K8200/3Drag standard filament extruder with 40mm fan is provided. A snap-on fan duct using original extruder screws and spacers is designed for strength and ease of printing. This is a remake of the standard 30mm fan K8200/3Drag E3D v6 HotEnd extruder mount with 40mm fan for quieter operation. I ordered a Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX 40mm fan with noise level below 18dB(A) and now there are other alternatives available. Please post your experiences using this fan duct. Update: Added STEP model for easier printing. Instructions Print the mounting holes against the bed first. For assembly you will need: 1. A standard 10mm wide case cooler fan or the one from Noctua 4. Counter-sink wood screws (2.9x19mm) 2. M3x5mm screws for easy spacer installation (optional) Assembled as shown in picture Print settings used were: ABS, layer height of 0.3mm, 2 perimeters, 50% infill and brim. Tips to achieve a smooth surface include using acetone and applying it with a nail brush.
