K8200/3Drag Dual Z-Axis
thingiverse
This is another Dual-Z-Axis-Mod for the Vellemann K8200. You need to find an alternative location for your Z-Limit-Switch, using an inductive sensor near your Hotend. This will give you approximately 50 mm more Z-Height. Print Settings Printer: K8200 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Custom Section You must purchase these parts: 1 x Stepper NEMA17 (e.g., Wantai 42BYGHW811) 2 x TR8x1.5 400 mm Trapezoidal thread spindles 2 x Trapezoidal nut 20Ø x 16 4 x 626ZZ Bearings 2 x Flex-Coupler 5mm / 5mm 2 x Linear shafts 10 x 345 4 x Screw M5 x 25 (Z-Axis_Guides.stl to Z-Nut_Part2.stl) 4 x Washer M5 x 10 (Z-Axis_Guides.stl to Z-Nut_Part2.stl) 8 x Screw M4 x 16 (Z-Nut_Part2.stl and Z-Nut_Part1.stl) 8 x Nut M4 (Z-Nut_Part2.stl and Z-Nut_Part1.stl) 6 x Screw M5 x 10 (Z-Motor_Support.stl and 626ZZ_Bearing_Support.stl to Frame) 6 x Washer M5 x 10 (Z-Motor_Support.stl and 626ZZ_Bearing_Support.stl to Frame) 6 x Nut M5 Squared (Z-Motor_Support.stl and 626ZZ_Bearing_Support.stl to Frame) 8 x Screw M3 x 8 (Z-Motor_Support.stl to Motor) 8 x Washer M3 x 7 (Z-Motor_Support.stl to Motor) 4 x Screw M5 x 30 (10mm_Rod_support.stl to Frame) 4 x Washer M5 x 10 (10mm_Rod_support.stl to Frame) 4 x Nut M5 Squared (10mm_Rod_support.stl to Frame) Instructions You must print all STL files twice. The TR-Nut fits perfectly inside the blue Nut-Support-Shells. If the nut slips, you can drill through the existing hole in the top-shell and cut a thread into the nut. There, you can place a screw for fixing. You need to machine the ends of the thread bars, as shown in the drawing "Trap_mach.pdf". This requires a lathe or a skilled friend with access to one. Mount the Extruder-Plate on the Top-Side of the Z-Arm (as seen in the pictures).
