UPDATE : Corrected Belt dimensions in the BOM Here is my Dual Leadscrew Z-axis Mod for the K8200 (3drag). It makes the z-arm much more sturdy and results in a lot smoother prints. It is based on my hanging z axis mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:648925) and represents it's next evolution step. BOM is available in the instructions. (If you already have the hanging mount, you will only need some of the parts) non-printed parts: 2 Velleman K8204 Z-axis leadscrew upgrade kits (only 1 if you already have the hanging mount) 4 M3x10mm socket screws (allen head) 7 M3x30mm socket screws (allen head) 7 M3 hex nuts (Only 3 if you already have the hanging mount) 10 M5x12mm socket screws (allen head) (Only 5 if you already have the hanging mount) 10 M5 square nuts for the aluminum profile (Only 5 if you already have the hanging mount) 4 M5x30mm socket screws (allen head) 4 M5 hex nuts 8 M5 washers 7 M3 washers (Only 3 if you already have the hanging mount) 4 ball bearings type 608zz (di=8mm, do=22mm, h=7mm) 1 XL closed-loop belt, pitch 2.54mm (1/10 inch), teeth 230, normal length 460 (46 inch/1168.4 mm), width 6mm (I deliberately made the belt tensioner to fit a wide range of belt lengths for easier sourcing. Tooth counts of min 219 to max 249 should work) 1 M3x5mm setscrew printed parts: If you already have the hanging mount, you will only need these: 2 x Leadscrew pulley and clamp (Print both pulleys in one go to minimize tolerances due to uneven heatshrink) 2 x belt tensioner pulley (with teeth) 1 x belt tensioner idler pulley (without teeth) 1 x belt tensioner mount 1 x belt tensioner arm 1 x bearing holder (right side) 1 x counter nut (You can also use the spare flex coupler from the second K0204 kit) 2 x Spacer 3 x bearing spacer 1 x Z-arm/Leadscrew Nut Mount If you don't have the hanging mount, you will need these too: 1 x motor mount 1 x bearing holder (left side) 1 x leadscrew nut mount Explosion drawings of the assembly are part of the design files
