K8200/3DRAG 80mm Fan Mounts
thingiverse
After fiddling with some fan upgrades, I managed to craft those myself. They feature a standard left and right mount (mirror) designed specifically for 80mm fans. With these large cooling fans, overheating is now a thing of the past. However, it's crucial to remember that only high-quality fans capable of running at low speeds will do - brands like Noctua are an excellent choice. Another plus side is the reduced noise level, courtesy of the slightly improved airflow. To keep everything secure, I simply added some duck tape to reinforce the mounts on the frame and threw in four extra Long M6 Bolts for good measure. Slicing Parameters: * Fan Speed: Be sure to adjust your slicing parameters accordingly; failing to do so may result in zero extrusion or an alarming drop in bed temperature. Electronic Settings: The Mosfet present on the 3DRAG/K8200 Board poses no issue, as it is fully compatible with these fans without any problems. Print Settings Raft: It's entirely up to you; raft settings don't significantly impact the print. Supports: You can do without; rafts aren't necessary. Infill: Set it at 20% minimum for a robust print
