K741 (old) coffee filter holder with a 28mm screw distance
thingiverse
The coffee filter holder on my reliable old Moccamaster K741 coffee maker snapped off in two. Initially, I was thrilled to discover a pre-made replacement part by NusNus available online. However, upon closer inspection, I realized that this part is designed for a newer model with a 48mm mounting screw hole distance. Unfortunately, my trusty Moccamaster has only a 28mm distance. This remix addresses the issue of a 28mm mounting screw hole distance. Additionally, I removed the embossed text from the top surface to make cleaning easier during use. In the end, after trying to print this revised design and the original one, I found that it's indeed quite challenging. The PETG filament I used began warping quickly, causing the hotend to collide with the part in a messy manner. This was not a problem with the design itself but rather an issue related to my printer or its settings. Eventually, I ordered an authentic spare part from the manufacturer's website. If you're determined to attempt printing this part, good luck!
