The creator's design is definitely eye-catching! To take it to the next level, I made a tweak by modifying one of the brackets to incorporate captive nuts. This ensures that the nuts stay firmly in place and don't come loose over time. A dab of epoxy was all it took to secure them tightly. When it came to choosing screws for the adjusting mechanism, I opted for M3x20 socket head screws and matching nuts. But that's not all - I also added a #3 spring to each one, giving them an extra boost when making adjustments. This subtle touch helps keep everything in place, even under pressure.
