K40 Springloaded Bed Holder

I designed left and right bed holders for K40 laser cutter engravers, specifically tailored to fit my Orion Motorworks 40 watt laser. This design allows me to modify the bed without removing the gantry, giving me added flexibility when working with a variety of objects. The adjustable width feature enables me to accommodate round objects while keeping them secure. I constructed these holders using .75 in wide and .125 in thick aluminium bars. To achieve optimal tension, I implemented 3 springs per bolt, but I can adjust this number as needed by adding or subtracting springs. Additionally, the bolts allow for manual tightening or loosening to fine-tune the tension to my preference.
