K40 mA Meter for Digital K40 Laser
thingiverse
Here is my 30 mA meter upgrade case for the K40 Laser / Engraver, featuring a digital display with no built-in mA meter. I designed this as an add-on to enhance functionality without compromising aesthetics. To securely fasten the display meter in place, I employed two round magnets, visible in the accompanying picture. These magnets were sourced from Amazon and provide ample hold without interfering with meter readings. However, due to their exceptional strength, they can be challenging to remove, necessitating considerable force. I opted for these robust magnets to avoid compromising the integrity of my case design. In a forthcoming revision, I plan to replace them with weaker alternatives to prevent potential damage to the enclosure. You may want to consider purchasing less potent magnets from Amazon, as specified in the links below: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F26M6M2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FL7NCYN/ref=sspa_dk_detail_7?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07FL7NCYN&pd_rd_w=2yp3D&pf_rd_p=10ebaf99-73de-4f5d-a994-e7f5fc52f86f&pd_rd_wg=pqsCg&pf_rd_r=P67T5Q02F7638B5WF545&pd_rd_r=eda77890-2bf8-11e9-a095-811ee4313434. Additionally, my design incorporates two holes on the sides for a long bolt and nut, but due to the secure snap-on feature of the back panel, these components remain unused. As always, I encourage sharing and enjoying this creation with others.
