This adapter fits stock fans with a 40W laser, making it an essential component for improving airflow. To seal the opening securely, use vhb tape and weatherstripping to create a tight seal. The adapter features a 3.5" OD hookup that allows you to connect your stock hose directly without needing any additional fittings. When installing the adapter, be aware that the four mounting holes will require slightly longer screws due to the added thickness of the sealing material used. Based on your specific setup, choose the correct screw size accordingly; for instance, 12mm worked well in my case. Additionally, be prepared to ream the mounting holes if they are not perfectly aligned, as warped fan housing can cause issues.
