K40 Laser Exhaust Adapter For 4" Vent Tubing
thingiverse
I recently picked up a K40 laser, and getting proper ventilation set up was essential. To use it, you'll need to print out Corey's shorter duct from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1627210. Next, I designed an adapter that fits snugly into the back of the laser where the exhaust brackets are, allowing me to connect a 4" exhaust tube directly to the exhaust. I purchased the tubing from Home Depot and this inline fan to pull fumes out of the machine efficiently: https://amzn.to/2DBn2aM. To ensure a secure connection, I printed the adapter in PETG and the spacer in TPU as a gasket between the shorter duct and my custom-made adapter.
