K40 Laser Cutter Air Assist
thingiverse
I've tried various air assist nozzles on the market, but all of them have one major flaw: they interfere with a cross beam underneath the mounting bezel, making them unusable straight out of the box. So, I decided to design my own nozzle from scratch. By recessing the cone area, I was able to eliminate interference altogether. To make installation a breeze, I positioned the fastening screw at the front of the nozzle. This small tweak made a huge difference in terms of ease of use. What's more, I designed the support into the part itself, allowing me to build it without any additional supports elsewhere. When it came time to remove the supports, they were easy to trim off.
