k40 Laser Cooling Pump Mounting Brackets!

These mounting brackets were designed to attach a 12-volt DC pump to our eBay K40 CO2 Laser. I felt uncomfortable about dropping a Chinese pump with 120 volts into a bucket of water. This seems like a better idea, as it moves 1.8 liters per minute and uses power from the laser itself to drive the pump. There are two versions: First, this version comes with its own 12-volt power supply, so you don't have to open the laser or do any wiring. Second, this version is half the price of the first one, but you'll need to come up with your own power solution. You can find this version here: http://diy3dtech.com/co2_laser_water_pump_without-power-supply. There are also two sizes available: a large 29mm version and a small 27.3mm version. The larger one is designed to fit over the metal bushing that comes with the motor, while the smaller one fits over the bare motor. Remember not to cover the vent holes at the back of the motor.
