K40 Laser bed with steel plate

I decided to create a custom motorized bed for my laser after researching various options and realizing that I could make something even better on my own. The design was inspired by several existing projects, including a few from Thingiverse and YouTube tutorials. The corners of the bed are currently in their fifth revision, and while there's still room for improvement, this is as good as it gets for now. The idea behind the design is to use two bearings and a collar in each corner to preload the bearing and minimize wobble. To achieve this, I pushed the bearing into the top cap until it stuck out just slightly. I used a G-clamp to insert the tight-fitting bearings, which required some extra effort but paid off in the end. Please note that the sizes listed below are specific to my machine, so be sure to verify yours before cutting any materials.
