K40 Air Assist, paired with a DesignSpark Mechanical CAD File. This design utilizes 1/4 inch OD brass tubing, but aluminum can be used as an alternative. The setup is crafted so that the tip remains approximately 4mm from the work piece when the focal point reaches 50mm. I created this version because the printed plastic prototype caught fire during wood cutting operations. This brass iteration functions effectively even with a low-cost aquarium air pump. Print Settings: Printer: Ultimaker Clone Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 25% Notes: Two perimeter settings work well for optimal results.
