In order to optimize the fume extraction of my CO2 laser, I sought to match the vent size more closely with the actual vent being 4,000 sq/m and the 3-inch marine ventilation hose, which has a surface area of 4.500 sq/m, thereby providing a closer match in size. Also worth noting is that there is also available a booster to fit this hose size for additional performance or longer runs. **Note:** In this design, the "funnel" was printed in TPU and the collar in either PLA or ABS to allow the hose to cinch down using cable ties. If you print the funnel in say ABS, you won't need the collar but will likely need to heat fit it to the blower.
