The tool is a compact device designed for rapid verification of the K40 laser engraver stock head distance from the material surface - simply choose the slot corresponding to the material thickness, ranging from 1 to 10 millimeters, or utilize the top, zero, setting for fine-tuning the carving adjustment. Additionally, a built-in tape measure with a length of 110 mm is conveniently located on the opposite side. After discovering its utility, I've decided to permanently attach this piece of plastic to my K40 laser engraver, finding it an indispensable accessory. To facilitate sharing, I made some minor alterations to the accompanying STL file by removing my personal logo.
