K40 Air Assist Nozzle

I use this air assist nozzle with my K40 laser cutter. The design was created in OpenSCAD and I've included the OpenSCAD file, which can be modified to suit your needs. A coiled hose and fitting are required for the nozzle's operation; these components are listed below. When attaching the hose to the nozzle, note that a barb on the fitting must be removed using a utility knife - this is not a difficult task since the fitting is made of plastic. The small plastic tabs designed to snap the nozzle onto the laser head have broken off my nozzle but it still stays securely in place. I may update the design in the future to eliminate these tabs altogether or remove them from the nozzle. A 1/8 NPT pipe thread tap (available at a hardware store) was used to create threads in the plastic for the fitting's installation.
