K40 Adjustable Air assist & Laser pointer holder
thingiverse
I mixed and matched from two files, trying both first but they didn't quite work out as needed. First up was the dual line laser pointer air assist, which I initially thought would be a good option. I loved the movable joint, but the air nozzle wasn't restrictive enough for my slightly underpowered air pump. Plus, it melted from flare-ups, so I needed another one anyway. Next, I moved on to the ring-based version, but found that the air nozzle wasn't in the right position for me. However, I preferred this version because I could easily get to the lens to clean without having to remove the part. So, I merged both files together using Sketchup and am currently using this design on my machine. It features a movable ball-jointed nozzle and a laser pointer ring - but next time I need one, I'll likely use two ball joints: one for air and one for the laser pointer (I'm thinking of using a version with a laser pointer that's easy to move, so there's no need to use two single line pointers). This design should fit 10mm outer diameter tube in it. I've created a barb for the tube but haven't tried using it yet - it should fit 6mm ID tubing.
