UPDATE:: The duct was missing a crucial screw hole that has now been expertly added back. Easily removable two-part 4" (100mm) vertical K40 exhaust - port and duct with an optional high-quality gasket is now available. A version of the duct with manually added support has been included, saving time and material. The optional gasket is a precise 1mm thick and fits perfectly between the port and the K40 chassis as well as between the port and the duct. For added security, two gaskets can be used or you could create your own by tracing out a paper template or using alternative materials. This duct is designed to be printed standing up from its base for optimal results. The recommended printing settings are 5 perimeters and 5% infill - a pro tip: increasing the number of perimeters will result in greater strength, while infill has a minimal impact on the overall structure. To install this exhaust system, remove the original fan port and secure two M3 bolts from the inside out using hex nuts. Ensure that the hex nuts are lined up horizontally for maximum stability. Next, add an optional gasket to create a seamless seal. Slide the port in from the back and secure it with another gasket before attaching the duct and fastening it with hex nuts.
