K40 4" Exhuast to 8" Harbor Freight Portable Ventilator
thingiverse
Description: This is to adapt the K40 4" exhaust to a harbor freight 8" portable ventilator (https://www.harborfreight.com/8-inch-portable-ventilator-97762.html). There are no modifications required to the ventilator, and the latches make attachment/detachment easy so it can be easily stored or used elsewhere when not used by the K40. You will need to drill two holes on opposite sides of the galvanized steel reducer to attach the latches and you will need to bend the latches slightly to match the shape of the steel reducer (see pictures for details). The toggle latches are attached using the screws with 2 hex nuts each to lock them in place. The 3d printed parts are friction fit, glue them if you need to. Bill of Materials: 2 x 6mm M3 Philips Button Head Screws 4 x M3 Hex Nuts 2 x Buckle Spring Loaded Hasp Toggle Latch (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W118MF1) 1 x Galvanized Steel Reducer, 8 in x 4 in Duct Fitting (https://www.grainger.com/product/6EKK8)
