K3D Sprite Duct with 40mm Side fan
thingiverse
This is a quick and dirty Tinkercad edit of the K3D Sprite Cooling System that adds a right-mounted 40mm hotend fan and elongates the mounting holes for easier fine positioning of the duct. Good for those like me who have removed the stock hotend fan and relocated their CRTouch to a less idiotic position (zero Y-offset on your probe will avoid crazy meshes) Print with supports with the logo facing the buildplate. I used 4 walls/shells and 50% gyroid infill but you do you. Use support blockers (or whatever they're called in your slicer) to prevent support occurring on the actual duct parts. You really only need to support the 40mm fan holder from underneath and perhaps also inside the big hole depending on the capabilities of your printer. Not the easiest print by any means so take it nice and slowly and remember to triple-check your slicing before printing :) ADDITIONAL PRO TIP!!!11 : Z hop is very useful on this model, I've found.
