K240-3U
thingiverse
Third revision of my 240 K-shaped unibody quad. Crafted with the limitations of an Ultimaker 2 firmly in mind, this design allows for a maximum raft/brim thickness of just 1.5mm. A judicious amount of support material is required, but I suspect that without it, print quality will suffer. Assembly: 8 M3x25 bolts and their corresponding nuts comprise the body's fasteners. 4 M3x8+ bolts and their matching nuts secure the camera and video transmitter in place. Setup: Motor: Scorpion M-2205 ESC: 30A Littlebee Flight Controller: Naze32 Acro Rev 6 Power Distribution Board: Matek Micro Receiver: Turnigy 9X 8ch receiver Additional components include a Quanum FPV kit, though I'm less than thrilled with the current RX and FC selections due to their considerable size. The hole in the top section is specifically designed to accommodate these connectors. Once they're upgraded, space should no longer be an issue; for now, however, everything fits within the confines of the design as it stands.
