K2 Skates - Alexis axel spacer
cults3d
My K2 "Alexis" inline skates were equipped with a brake pad attached to the shaft of the rear skate on the right foot. Following a fall that left me severely bruised from the brake being jammed into my back, I decided it would be better without it. So, I unbolted the rear wheel and removed it, but the axel shaft was too long and remained loose without the brake attached. These spacers ensure that the skate frame properly grips the bearings in place and their taper prevents bolt heads from catching on anything. Made with Oozby, my OpenSCAD preprocessor, utilizes corner_radius option on cylinder() for a more visually appealing design.
