K1S Dashcam Polarising Lens Adapter

This adapter enables the installation of a 24mm CPL (Circular Polarising) filter onto the Koonlung K1S Dashcam, significantly reducing reflections from the windscreen and dashboard. It is designed to accommodate the widely available 24mm CPL filter used for the "Mini 0806 Camera", such as those found at https://www.google.com/#q=24mm+cpl+0806. The CPL filter fits snugly within the adapter, a secure hold being achieved by means of an M3 nut and screw recess. An M3x6 Nylon screw and nut were used to prevent camera damage. Note that while the filter glass measures 24mm in diameter, its outer body is 26mm across with a thickness of approximately 4.15mm. As the filter is rotated to the optimal angle, most reflections will be eliminated, after which it can be tightened into place (caution: avoid over-tightening).
