K1EL PaddleStick1 CW Keyer case (big case)

I'm a ham radio enthusiast (EA7HVO). Many of us have acquired a K1EL paddlestick keyer. I encountered the issue that no case fit the kit. Here's my solution. This is the larger model. I've also created another one slightly smaller. Check out my profile. Be aware of PLA - PLA is highly sensitive to static electricity, so it's essential to cover the paddles with two or three layers of electrical tape or a similar material. If the keyer behaves erratically, don't hesitate to cover the paddles. This makes it less finicky and more accurate. In my case, I needed to cover every paddle with three layers of 3M tenflex electrical tape. 08/05/2020 I reinforced the base. The holder is now 8mm wide instead of 2mm. 10/05/2020 To control the sensitivity of the paddles, I added four different covers for them. They have varying widths (1--1.5--2--2.5 mm) for different levels of sensitivity. I use a 2mm thickness. Enjoy and 73.
