K1-Rap Printer
thingiverse
The K1-Rap is an evolved version of Dkennel's Pocket Printer. The designer loved the design concept but faced issues with the slides in the original model. With 8mm smooth rods and lm8uu bearings from a Prusa, a new design was developed based on the basic structure of the Pocket Printer. For detailed information, visit www.entropyprojects.blogspot.com. The name 'K1-Rap' includes the build number to avoid confusion. Instructions and Bill of Materials (BOM) will be available soon along with STL files in a Zip folder. Additional parts required include two Zmounts, six barendbrackets, one Zslide 2L, one Zslide 2R, an xmotor, an xidler, two ySlides, a hotendmount, a beltbracket, and three endstops. Aluminum extrusions of different sizes are also needed along with smooth rods, lm8uu linear bearings, threaded rods, and preferred Z couplers, steppers, belts/pulley/idlers. Stay tuned for the complete instructions!
