K1 5 to 8 Inch Deadcat FPV Drone Here you find all Files for cutting and printing an FPV Drone and also a tuning file for the 7inch. I spent the last Year Designing Test and Tune this FPV Drone and here are finally the results I give this design and tune away for free. All my experiments with 7inch and bigger quads were not so good to this point mostly because the Motor to Prop setup was always troublesome and that does not fit my needs for a perfectly flying drone. In the last year, Motors and Props are got a huge push-up because of all the new Cinelifter options and this is super great finally we have good 7 and 8inch props. So what I can say is I spent a huge amount of money to get all these nice parts mostly Motors and Propellers and did try them on my first version of the frame in spring 2021. Long story short I do look okay but not perfect. The next step was getting 4.3 nightly and playing with all the settings filter and also ESC settings but still, all not perfect I spent weeks of tuning flights (can share nearly 800log files only from this time). The Frame was light and durable at this time but not solid enough (to much vibration) so in my next real version (V4 to this time) I did increase the arms dimension and overworked the connection in middle. This version was a huge improvement but sadly still not what I want but the flight feeling was already super nice for a 7inch super low throttle control and nice yaw axe. So I spent also weeks and months and tune it but I did not get to the point where it was perfect, don't get me wrong for reelsteady it was already more than enough but I always try to find the point in my tunes where I don't need a post stabilization. After weeks of tuning, I switched to 2810 Motor from 2808.5 Motors, and WOW the power of this Motor on 6S is insane but also the smoothness did increase, but still not what I was looking for. At this point last year I learned about basement tuning from Brian Wright and hell yeah this did bring me to a new level of tuning Drone, easy and fast to a really good tune. After this, I tried to max out the numbers and I can say I did get really crazy on that but at a point, there was no improvement. So I did redesign my frame again to the final version 7 the most important change was the Arms high from 6 to 8mm for the 7inch and 8inch arms, I also changed from a single Bottom plate to a split design, and yet here we are after tuning it and get again over several BF versions and everyone how did try BF 4.3 last year knows how much it does change over the year.
