K-Kart(3D printed C-Tug)
thingiverse
This is my version of a remake of the C-Tug, but at a fraction of the cost, with the challenge of making it work for real. The idea behind the C-Tug is that it's a lightweight and portable kayak dolly that straps securely to the underside when you need to move your kayak over land. I felt that the $120+ price tag was outrageous, so I set out to 3D print something with similar function using the filament I had on hand. This remake isn't suitable for everyone, as some people struggle with simple tasks like tying their own shoes, but if you kayak and want to amplify your adventure without breaking your back or blowing your budget, this could be just what you need. I added caps to help hold the top pads firmly in place and secure them better so I could bungee the cart safely to the kayak. Next, I used a couple of wood screws to lock them down tightly.
